Computing Exam Scheme
The scheme of Computing written examination papers for the first year of BSc and MSci degrees in Joint Mathematics and
Computing in the academic session 2008-09 is as follows.
There are two written papers to be sat in the Summer Term.
In each paper all of the questions are compulsory and carry equal weight.

The above two exam papers constitute the Computing Unit MC178 and have ratio 1:2.
The Pass Requirements for this unit is as follows:
obtain an average of at least 40% overall for the unit, including examination and coursework,
obtain at least 40% in the aggregate of the examinations,
obtain at least 30% in each of the examinations.
Here, 'examinations' means the written papers you sit in the Summer term.
