Robust application-layer knowledge exchange protocols for UAVs (RoKEx)

October 2007 to March 2010

This project seeks to build the technology that will allow knowledge present in existing modern software applications plus information of human sources to be integrated in a semi-automated manner. The result will be knowledge integration techniques and tools, suited to knowledge based reasoning and planning in rapidly evolving and environments with unreliable sources of knowledge. These techniques and tools would also have more general applicability to the coordination and knowledge exchange between any group of autonomous systems (AS) and between AS and humans.
