| Abstract: | Cinesite (a wholly owned subsidiary of Kodak) is one of the world's top 10 visual effects facilities, currently working on 8 major studio feature films including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia. This talk will showcase selected special effects sequences and discuss the behind-the-scenes techniques (many of them grounded in computer science) that make them possible. |
