Automated Trading is the union of technology and trading. As such, the rate of change in this area is very large. We are currently seeing more market volume, more automated trading, lower latency trades, more regulation, more, more, more! In this session, we can discuss the current state of the art tecnology, challenges and trends.

Currently European Head of Automated Trading Technology in Cash Equities at Barclays Capital. Formerly working @ Polygon . a Hedge Fund in both NY and then in London with the Events Trading Desk. Prior to that I was at Merrill Lynch in the US, consulting at Morgan Stanley and other proprietary trading consulting work.
