Title: Nothing is Someone’s Problem
Abstract:

What does it mean to serve more than a billion people around the world? How do you stay fast when the risk of downtime can be measured in human lifetimes and millions of pounds per hour? The answer lies in the mindset of the women and men who build and maintain Facebook. This talk will reverse engineer the way Facebook engineers think.

Speaker Details: Jackson Gabbard

Originally a member of the infrastructure team, Jackson has worked on Facebook for the mobile web, Facebook core JS libraries, the user interface engineering team, and the internal tools team.
