Title: Continuous Delivery
Abstract:

Software engineering in large organisations has traditionally been a fairly bureaucratic process involving lots of individuals and a great deal of time. Recently, the industry has begun to shift towards adopting many of the engineering and operating practices used by smaller organisations with agile processes.

The BBC is scaling Continuous Delivery to work for hundreds of software engineers and thousands of people in the organisation to let us respond to audience feedback and contributions even faster and to deliver the world leading digital experiences we're known for.

Speaker Details: Tom Yandell and Graham Lyons

Tom Yandell and Graham Lyons are part of the Platform Engineering team at the BBC who are building the system to allow developers across the organisation to deploy their code to a live, audience-facing website hundreds of times a day.
