Title: Algorithms in Trading
Abstract:

Algorithm design has a wide variety of applications in the financial services industry. This talk will present some of those uses, and focus on a real-life trading technology case study: BHDG is required to fairly allocate fills it receives in the market place to trading accounts.

Ahmed has worked for BH-DG Systematic Trading LLP for three years, focussing on development within Execution Trading Technology. He has implemented algorithmic and automated trading of futures and FX. Prior to joining, Ahmed was employed by Morgan Stanley where he developed front office short-selling trading technology, trading platforms and screens. Ahmed graduated with a First in MEng Computing from Imperial in 2008, having won the Adrian Israel Memorial Prize in 2005.
