David Braben has been in the games business for 23 years, and was first known for the "Elite" and "Frontier" series of games. He is the Chairman and principal founder of Frontier Developments Ltd, the UK developer whose recent titles include "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3", "Dog's Life" and "Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo", all of which were critically acclaimed and have won various awards. "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" entered the US PC charts at #1 (according to NPD) in November last year and continues to sell well throughout the world. Frontier employs around 80 people, and has offices in Cambridge and in Ely in the UK, developing for PC, handhelds, consoles (both current and next generation), and is working on a number of new projects, including the recently announced "Soaked!" expansion pack for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, and the game of the forthcoming feature-length movie from Dreamworks and multiple Oscar-winning Aardman Animations: "Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit".
