David Braben
Founder, Frontier Developments

David Braben has been in the games business for 25 years, and was first known for the "Elite" and "Frontier" series of games. He is the Chairman and principal founder of Frontier Developments Ltd, the UK developer whose recent titles include "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3", "Dog's Life" and "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". Frontier employs around 140 people, and has offices on the Science Park in Cambridge, currently developing for PC, PlayStation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360.



Andrew Davison
Lecturer and EPSRC Advanced Research Fellow, Imperial College

Andrew J. Davison read physics at the University of Oxford, receiving the BA degree in 1994. In his doctoral research in Oxford's Robotics Research Group, he developed one of the first robot SLAM systems using vision. He was awarded a five year EPSRC Advanced Research Fellowship in 2002, and moved to Imperial College London in 2005 to take up a lectureship. He continues to work on advancing the basic technology of real-time localization and mapping using vision while collaborating to apply these techniques in robotics and related areas.



Richard Parr
Chief Technical Officer, Criterion Games (EA)

Richard is the Chief Technical Officer for Criterion Games, part of EA's UK Studio. He has worked in the games industry for 13 years, joined Criterion in 1999 and since then has helped to deliver the Burnout series of racing games and the FPS Black, initially as a lead programmer and in recent years as a Technical Director and CTO.



Henry Falconer
Lead Developer, Codeglue

Henry Falconer graduated from Imperial College in 2006 with a Master's degree in Computing. He then took the position of Lead Developer at Codeglue, a small game developer in the Netherlands, where he had previously done a six-month placement. During his time at Codeglue he has gained experience on a variety of platforms, including mobile phone, Nintendo DS and Xbox 360.



Alex Whittaker
Lead Logic, Beautiful Game Studios (Eidos)

Alex Whittaker graduated from UCL with a degree in Genetics in the late twentieth century and immediately went into bioinformatics working for Imperial Cancer Research. He then moved to SmithKline Beecham and completed an AMSc in Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary and Westfield before entering the games industry at Psygnosis. From there he moved to Elixir and worked on complex behaviours in Republic and then came to Eidos to work on the Championship Manager series.



Daniel Rueckert
Professor of Visual Information Processing, Imperial College

Daniel Rueckert graduated with a PhD in Computing from Imperial College in 1997. From 1997 to 1999 he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Division of Radiological Sciences at King's College London. In 1999 he returned to Imperial College to work on medical image computing. Professor Rueckert has co-authored more than 150 journal and conference articles. He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and is on the programme committee of a number of international conferences on medical imaging and computer vision.



Mark Morris
Managing Director, Introversion Software

Mark Morris joined forces with Chris and Thomas to found Introversion after completing a Masters degree in Computer Science at Imperial College, London. Mark is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running and operation of Introversion, acting as project manager and arbiter between the commercial and development sides of the team. Mark is also currently working on securing a number of exciting deals for Introversion that will be coming out next year.



Chris Delay
Creative Director, Introversion Software

Chris Delay was one of the three students who founded Introversion and is the lead developer responsible for game design and development. After completing a Computing Masters degree at Imperial College, London and spending some demoralising months working in the commercial games industry, Chris decided to leave his job and devote all his energies to making and selling his own games. To date, he has released three titles, Uplink, Darwinia and DEFCON, and is currently working on Introversion's forth stand-alone title, codename Multiwinia.



Richard Geary
Software Engineer, Rare

Richard Geary is a Software Engineer at Rare, and has spent 3 years developing Systems and AI code for Viva Piņata. Richard graduated from Oxford University in 2004 with a Masters in Physics, and joined the games industry to write cutting-edge software.



Peter Molyneux
Creative Director, Lionhead Studios

Peter Molyneux is one of the best-known names in the international world of computer games. He co-founded Bullfrog Productions and created a new genre of computer games with the release of Populous. In 1997 Peter left Bullfrog Productions to form a new games development company Lionhead Studios, which has since released five games with cumulative sales approaching the 5 million mark. In 2005 he was awarded an OBE for services to the computer video games industry.
