Beastie Vero
The Beastie Vero is the prototype Beastie constructed on Veroboard. It has a few changes from the Beastie One: no Beastie Bus, an optional external crystal oscillator, and an integrated thermometer, potentiometer and light level sensor.

Beastie PC
The Beastie PC is used as a bridge between the low bitrate microcontroller-based radio nodes and the high bitrate PC-based nodes in the ANS. It is based on the Beastie Vero with a slightly different processor (ATmega8) which can be run at a higher clock speed (16MHz) than the other Beasties. It has an RS-232 serial interface to allow connection to a PC.
