Dr. Chun Hok Ho obtained his PhD from Department of Computing, Imperial College, London. His research interests include computer arithmetic, computer architecture, design automation and optimisation, parallel computation, digital signal processing and embedded systems. He received several awards, such as Oversea Research Students Awards, and the Stamatis Vassiliadis Awards from International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Applications in 2007 and 2008. His PhD topic is customisable FPGA for floating point arithmetic. His thesis advisors are Professor Wayne Luk and Professor Philip Leong. He graduated with an Honours BEng degree, majoring in Computer Engineering, from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2001. He obtained his M.Phil degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2003 from the same University. |
