# How to update from a previous version.

1.  Backup your previous version of ICQJava.
2.  Install the current version.
3.  From the backup, copy the files under directory "conf" to directory "conf".
4.  Run ICQJava.

* Notice: After running ICQJava ver 0.98 with old configuration files, the 
    configuration files will change and the previous versions of ICQJava will 
    not be able to use them, so keep a backup of your old configuration files.
