Research

See the data placement and migration strategy case study videos.

For the up-to-date list of my publications, please visit my page on the Department of Computing's Publication site.

I am part of the AESOP research group in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. I am currently employed as a Research Associate (RA) on the EPSRC-funded grant "Intelligent Performance Optimisation of Virtualised Data Storage Systems" (iPODS). My other research interests include the parallel calculation of response-time densities and quantiles in very large Markov and semi-Markov models.

My PhD thesis was on Parallel Computation of Response Time Densities and Quantiles in Large Markov and Semi-Markov Models [PDF] [PSGZ]. Prior to my PhD, I did an MSc in Computing Science at Imperial College London. My Individual Project was the production of an extensible Petri Net editor. You can read my report or download a copy of Medusa . . .

Teaching

The MPI example programs used in the Parallel Algorithms "Introduction to MPI" lectures are available as a tar file or from the course page on CATE (revised version uploaded at 1430 on Wednesday 3 February 2010).
