Peter Pietzuch

About Me

I am a Lecturer with the Distributed Software Engineering section in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. I lead the Large-scale Distributed Systems group that does research on scalable software systems of any kind.

Before coming to Imperial, I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Systems Research group at Harvard University. I received my Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, after joining the Computer Laboratory as part of the Opera group. I was a graduate member of Queens' College and received a B.A. degree from Girton College.

New Post-Doc Position on DISSP Project I have an opening for a post-doctoral researcher in the area of large-scale distributed systems. The post is part of the DISSP project that investigates techniques for reliably processing large amounts of stream data from globally distributed sensor networks.
