I was awarded two EPSRC research grants: the DISSP (Dependable Internet-Scale Stream Processing) project will develop techniques for reliably processing large amounts of stream data coming from distributed Internet sources; the SmartFlow project (in collaboration with Cambridge and the NHS) will investigate lightweight, extendable event-based middleware architectures for supporting healthcare applications.
I have two openings for research positions: a post-doc on DISSP and a post-doc on SmartFlow. The application deadline is 18 May 2008 (extended). Please get in touch if you're interested. There's also a PhD studentship available on the DISSP project. |
