Research  Info

I’m a Research Associate working at the CareGrid project under the supervision of Naranker Dulay. My current main research interests focus on trust management, access control mechanisms and policy-based management. I’m also responsible for the development and implementation of the authorisation module in Ponder2.

I obtained my Ph.D. form the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE), under the supervision of Michel Chaudron, Maarten van Steen, and Martin Rem.  During my Ph.D. I researched methods that can facilitate the development and maintainability of distributed applications. I spent the last year of my Ph.D. working at the SwA Group at Philips Research Labs in Eindhoven. A copy of my thesis can be obtained from here.

In my spare time, I love doing sport, martial arts, and landscape photography (you can see some of my pictures here). 

Currently I am serving as PC co-chair of the International Workshop on Middleware Security (MidSec 2008). Moreover, I am serving as PC member for Coordination Models, Languages and Applications and Dependable and Adaptive Distributed Systems (ACM SAC 2009).
