Location

POPL'2001 will take place at the Royal Society, situated in the very heart of London. The venue is within walking distance of some of the major sites of interest for visitors, like the National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, and Buckingham Palace. Also, the West End, where all the major cinemas, theaters and restaurants are located, is very close to both the venue and the main conference hotel.

The 'Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall' will host the sessions of POPL 2001, with lunch and coffee breaks taking place in the 'City of London Rooms', whereas the satellite meetings CW'01: and FOOL 8 will take place in 'The Kohn Centre'.
