Exhibitions

There were two exhibitions at FPL97. The purpose of the exhibitions was to show demonstrations, prototypes and working products involving the latest field-programmable technology; these included devices, applications and development tools. It also provided an opportunity for extensive interactions between suppliers and users of programmable logic systems.


A Commercial Exhibition was mounted throughout the 3-day duration of the workshop.

The exhibitors included: Annapolis Micro Systems, Embedded Solutions Limited, TSI TelSys, Virtual Computer Corporation, and Xilinx.


An Evening Exhibition was mounted on September 1, which was opened to participants with valid tickets in addition to those registered for FPL97. All participants received free drinks and free dinner.

The Evening Exhibition was sponsored by Xilinx. The exhibitors included: ALT Technologies Ltd, Annapolis Micro Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation, Embedded Solutions Limited, Glasgow University, Hewlett Packard Laboratories Bristol, Imperial College Departments of Computing and Electrical Engineering, MiroTech Microsystems, Motorola, Navtel, Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, TSI TelSys, Strathclyde University, Sundance, Virtual Computer Corporation, and Xilinx.
