A year or two ago, while living in the 'Tree House' I had a flat-mate, and for a year, a room-mate, named Karim... this was a birthday prezzie to try and counsel him about an apparent love of the aforementioned creatures. It was written in just one week, and finished on time - another rare novelty. There isn't really much of a plot. The tellyTs wave at you, and you shoot them with a little ship. They drop out of the sky and you have to either shoot them again, or get out of the way, otherwise you explode. Cool huh? There are lots of levels, and good scores should be approaching the 15 million mark! Unfortunately, all that is very well.... BUT... we're not allowed to let you download it. Very sad... I thought I should check with the relevant people if I was allowed to release this game as complete freeware, having written the game and music, and drawn the graphics myself... but sadly the answer I got was a big fat and very firm no. So Shooting T has never been available for download.... A few months later, another TT game which was up for download, and quite popular among many friends (I've never played it, but I'm told it was much ruder than mine) was involved in some kind of court case I think... so it was probably good that Shooting T didn't go up for download. Never-the-less... it is still a valuable member of the Shooting Cheddery series, even if you can't get it, so here are some ickle screenshots of this bit of history. Send me some sympathetic comments so I can be depressed about it with you. |
