This file is sourced after your .cshrc when you login to a new machine for the first time.

The standard lab .login contains the line:

source /usr/local/etc/default.login

Do not modify this file unless you know what you are doing.

The normal permissions for this file are read and write for the owner only, and can be set with the command:

	chmod 600 .login
