Linux files: .logout

This file is sourced when you logout of a machine. It can be used to clean up after a session if so desired.

It is a good idea to have a .logout contain the following line

kdestroy
This will destroy any Kerberos tickets that you have finished using.

The normal permissions for this file are read and write for the owner only, and can be set with the command:

        chmod 700 .cshrc
