Linux files: .signature

If you have a .signature file it is appended to all email, and all Internet News postings that you send. It is considered very bad netiquette to have a .signature longer than four lines. It should contain important information, such as your name, address, return email address, and perhaps your phone number.

Some example .signature files

The following are some .signature files which demonstrate how the required information can be fitted into a small space.
