Your computer account will already have been created by the time you arrive here in the Department in October to begin your course, at which time you will be granted full access to Departmental resources. Please note:

 * First, you must activate your College (ICT) account by visiting [[https://www.imperial.ac.uk/ict/activateaccount/|ICT's Account Activation page]].  As part of this, you will choose your own initial College password.

 * All new users are setup with College Exchange mailboxes from day one. Please see our documentation on [[services/email|email]] for more information. If you would like to access your College email from the web, use the [[https://www.imperial.ac.uk/admin-services/ict/self-service/connect-communicate/office-365/what-is-office-365//|College Webmail]] system.

 * If you have received login information as a prospective student to the Department, then your access will be limited. You will not have interactive (shell or remote) access to Departmental computing resources, and your access to other Departmental web pages may be restricted.
