High Performance Computing
Local high-performance computing facilities include:
Various local clusters also exist, including:
The IXI, PREDICT, and BIOMEDIA clusters (owned by the VIP research group).
The CAMELOT and LUNA clusters (owned by the AESOP research group) -- see also AESOP's own notes on using those services.
The BARKING cluster (owned by the DSG research group).
The central College computing service, ICT, also provide an excellent HPC Service , which is free for use by College research and provides three large systems - a general purpose mixed architecture cluster with about 25000 cores, a high-end parallel SGI ICE with over 10000 cores and two shared memory SGI UV systems with combined memory of about 20TB.
