Some courses have compulsory periods in industry or at an approved academic institution abroad. Dates of terms for students attending the Imperial College School of Medicine differ from those shown above. Details are available from the School of Medicine.

Lecture times

lectures are normally held between the hours of 09.00 and 17.50, except on Wednesdays, when they finish at 12.30. Wednesday afternoons are left free to allow students to take part in sports. No classes are held on Saturdays. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the Autumn and Spring Terms there is normally a two-hour break at midday for various Humanities Programme and Student Society events.
