Job Description International Coordinator

To address all aspects associated with International Student Exchanges in the Department of Computing including:

  • To maintain and propose updates to the Departmental Regulations on Student Exchanges.

  • To maintain and establish new exchange agreements with other Universities and respond to queries associated with exchange agreements.

  • To organise the selection of DoC students (International Programme) due to study abroad, and provide tutoring and pastoral care to those students including curriculum selection, study agreement and conversion of marks.

  • To perform student admissions functions for external students wishing to study in DoC and answer their queries with a view of establishing a clear study programme.

  • To provide pastoral care for visiting exchange students from external universities, follow their curriculum and liaise if needed with their home universities for any administrative procedures.

  • To participate in College led international initiatives such as IDEA League and exchanges with other universities as required.

  • To advertise the study-abroad and UROP possibilities to students in DoC.

  • To liaise with the College International Office regarding procedures regulations, applications etc.

  • To liaise with the institutions providing students to DoC, including providing necessary information regarding marks and examination results.
