The protein field is a string which is interpreted as a Perl regular expression. The match is
case-insentive. Examples:-

trans(ferrin|thyretin)
- Accession Code

Must be a number.
- Mr
- pI

These fields may either be an exact number or a range numbers. A range is
indicated by the presence of a - (hyphen). Examples:

This is a free-form string representing a day of the year. Examples:-
