Third stop of our Italian trip. Don't know what I can say about a city where everything from a garbage "truck" to an ambulance is a boat !!! With so many nooks, corners and narrow lanes, its great fun to just get lost :). We also managed a day trip to Murano, Burano (an absolute gem) and Torcello.

Second stop of our Italian trip. By far my favourite Italian city. Certainly lives up to the saying "Dynamite comes in small packages". An added bonus to everything Renaissance is the incredible Tuscan countryside. Enroute from Roma, we also made a short stopover at Pisa.

First stop of our Italian trip. For a city this size, its a sheer delight to explore on foot. There are some wonderful little piazzas strewn in and around the marvels of the old city, and of course, there is all that history and the Vatican.

Second stop of the Easter trip. Wonderful city with interesting architecture and some absolutely wonderful piazzas. It also houses some of the best gelato and hot chocolate I've ever had. Having the alps so close by is an added bonus :)
