Title: Making products users love
Abstract:

Computer science teaches you how to make software right. But what's equally important is making sure you're building the right software in the first place. These days, it's how customers experience software products that makes the difference between success and failure. In this talk, we'll share the lessons we've learnt over Moonfruit's 15 year history and describe the very latest approaches to product discovery.

Speaker Details: Eirik Pettersen

Moonfruit is a UK based DIY website building application and hosting service, with over 7m websites built on the platform to date. Eirik Pettersen is one of Moonfruit's founders and its Chief Technology Officer. He graduated with a Physics degree from IC in 1992, and left Cambridge with a PhD a few years later. After a short stint as a stategy consultant, Eirik worked in the city for a financial software company before starting Moonfruit with fellow IC alumnus Wendy Tan White.
