Abstract: As retailing continues to evolve, customers are expecting more personalised, hyper-relevant, and convenient access to experiences, products and services. Retailers are collecting more data than ever before through consumer applications and store interfaces, often in real time, and need to feed this back via API interfaces to the various touch-points of both customers and sales associates alike. See how Burberry is making sense of the omni-channel experience and the challenges we face.

Jonathan has been with Burberry for over 5 years in various roles within IT; he currently looks after Burberry's IT Research & Development and Solutions Architecture functions. He is focussed on designing Burberry's technology and application strategy; designing Burberry's best-in-class application platform and development stack, the core ""big data"" platform for Burberry's Data Science and analytics initiatives and core API platform for all Burberry's in-store, corporate and consumer applications. He has over 10 years experience building online applications. As VP of IT Solutions at Burberry Shaun is responsible for solution delivery across Burberry's entire technology landscape. Since joining Burberry Shaun has focused on building a world class delivery team in the digital and mobile space. Since taking over all solutions delivery at Burberry Shaun is continuing to drive innovation, executing Burberry's Mobile first vision. He has been central to their strategy of adopting an API first approach to all solutions delivery - connecting their ERP systems with their Social, Big Data and Mobile initiatives. Shaun has over 15 years experience building and architecting online applications. Before his move to Burberry Shaun was CTO of the MailOnline - the worlds largest online newspaper.
