| Abstract: | Cloud native organisations such as AirBNB, Netflix, Tesla and Nest are showing the traditionally established big enterprise how a $bn company can operate leaner and more innovatively, by being a software defined business with minimal capital, but with significant agility. They adopt a mix of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration processes supported and enabled by Platform as a Service (PaaS). Adam Jackson, Head of PaaS Product and Robbie Avni, PaaS Product Management will provide an overview of these new working practices and tools, and how adopting PaaS can transform users into Digital Dragons - complete with demos. |
| Speaker Details: | Adam Jackson Adam Jackson, Head of PaaS Product, joined Canopy from its inception nearly 2 1/2 years ago, and is responsible for the development and delivery of the next generation of cloud based platforms, centred around application development and hosting. Robbie Avni, PaaS Product Management, completed an MSc in Computing Science at Imperial College and joined Canopy in October 2013 as part of the PaaS team, helping to deliver and manage our portfolio of products. |
