Title: | Using time series data for trading platform problem and performance analysis |
---|---|
Abstract: | A significant proportion of banks and hedge funds process their derivatives trades using third party trading platforms. Such software becomes critical to an organisation's daily operations and it is therefore key that it functions with reliably and efficiently. Formicary have found that using time series data is a powerful means of investigating problems after the fact and have built a tool that gathers, presents and analyses key performance metrics. This talk will discuss the technologies used in this tool and how we see big data being used to automate the software support process. |
