| Speaker Details: | Yan Collendavelloo Yan Collendavelloo manages the e-commerce R&D department at Amadeus London. Powering the website of about a hundred airlines, Amadeus e-commerce solution offers all a traveller needs to be inspired, search and book and pay for a trip. Yan originally started at Amadeus as a software engineer in the Middleware division, located in Nice, France. Tackling problems of scalability in distributed systems, he was instrumental in revamping a massively used business rules engine. Yan then took the lead of a team of software engineers and analysts in the reservation back ends at Amadeus. Both the growing customer base in the Asia Pacific region and his love of travel prompted Yan to move to the Amadeus Sydney office. He set up new teams in the land down under working with Agile distributed teams across continents. |
