Title: Building Simulated Worlds
Abstract: Improbable Fabric is a distributed system for stitching together many simulations to form massive, persistent worlds. This talks explores some of the engineering challenges that were faced with its design and implementation.

Rob Whitehead is Co-Founder & CTO of Improbable, and Andreessen-Horrowitz backed startup building a new kind of distributed simulation software. He studied Computer Science at Cambridge University, and has interests in gaming, virtual worlds, and simulation. He's has been building software from an early age, back then becoming a successful entrepreneur from content creation in the virtual world 'Second Life' as a teenager.
