Title: How we’re building a top 10 global tech company
Abstract: Next Jump is the world’s largest provider of Employee Shopping platforms, working with 70% of the Fortune 1000 ranging from Tesla to Facebook. Having been featured in Simon Sinek’s TED talk “Why good leaders make you feel safe”, as well as the Harvard Business Review’s upcoming book “An Everyone Culture: Becoming a Deliberately Developmental Organization”, we are seen as thought leaders in the employee engagement space. Our goal is ambitious: to be one of the top 10 tech companies in the world. In this talk we will discuss how we are going about achieving this, from the software engineering practices we follow in order to build products that people love fast, to fostering an engineering culture of growth and personal development. Takeaways from the session will include learnings you can apply when building your own products, as well as an insights into the sort of things to look for in any company beyond salary and brand name if you are looking to grow yourself as an engineer and as a leader.
