Constructs the Help Frame for Pandora IV.

makeTree

public javax.swing.JTree makeTree()
Creates the tree in the first tab (Tree Tab).
This tree represents an hierarchical view of all the help files available.
Displays the contents of the selected tree node in the contents panel.


createNodes

public void createNodes(javax.swing.tree.DefaultMutableTreeNode top)
Creates the nodes in the tree attached to the Tree Tab.pathURL = Help.class.getResource( "help/welcome.html" );

Parameters:
top - DefaultMutableTreeNode representing the tree root.

valueChanged

public void valueChanged(javax.swing.event.TreeSelectionEvent e)
Handles the events thrown by the TreeSelectionListener.
Displays in the content panel the contents of the file corresponding the selected node in the tree.

Parameters:
e - TreeSelectionEvent representing the event passed by the TreeSelectionListener.

actionPerformed

public void actionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent e)
Handles the events thrown by the TextFieldListener and action Listeners attached to the Search and Radio Buttons.
When a search phrase is entered, this method will call the search function to perform a global or advanced search depending on the selected mode.

Parameters:
e - ActionEvent representing the event passed by the ActionListener.

search

public void search(java.lang.String sf,
                   javax.swing.tree.DefaultMutableTreeNode selectedNode,
                   javax.swing.DefaultListModel listModel)
Searches the help files (HelpAccessProceduress) for the required text phrase.

If a node has already been selected in the tree, and the user has switched to the 'Advanced Search' mode; it will search the required phrase within the selected node and its children.

Select the top node for global search.
If none of the nodes in the tree are selected, it will perform a global search.

It will then dynamically generate a list of all the results and display them.
It will first look for the search phrase within the titles of the files, then amoung the list of keywords and finally the file bodies.

Parameters:
sf - String representing the search phrase
selectedNode - DefaultMutableTreeNode representing the root of the selected tree
listModel - DefaultListModel representing the listModel for the search list

stateChanged

public void stateChanged(javax.swing.event.ChangeEvent e)
Invoked by the action listener attached to the Tabbed Panel.
Nothing needs to be done if any of the tabs selected.
All that is needed is to know which tab is currently selected to invoke the right ListSelectionListener.
