Submission of Report 1: Project Specification

This is a very important document. It contains the project 'external' specifications, i.e. what the project will accomplish. This is in a way a contract between your project supervisor (who will evaluate your work) and you. It should contain clearly stated:

  • minimum specifications which, if well met, should obtain grade B.
  • extensions which, if well met, should obtain grade A.
  • proposed division of work among group members, and a proposed schedule for design, implementation, integration and testing.

Submission of Report-2: Project Design/Implementation
Report-2 is an in-progress report which should contain the already established internal design features of the project. By this time an early integration of the different contributions should have been attempted. Without early integration attempts it will be difficult to complete the project, prepare the presentation, finish the documentation, etc. in the remaining weeks.
06-12-02 10-01-03

By this date the project should be virtually completed and working properly. Final tuning and minor modifications could occur later but these may jeopardise the integrity of the product demonstration which follow.

  • a table of the hours per week spent by each member on the project
  • the Log-Book

All the material must be placed in a single binder/folder, and the code produced by the project placed on a CDROM inside the binder/folder. The CDROM should include any (non-proprietary) third party software essential to the project that is not found on the standard Linux or Windows insallations within DoC.
