Hello, world!

I'm a fourth year PhD student in Computer Vision / Machine Learning in the Department of Computing, Imperial College London, under the supervision of Prof. Stefanos Zafeiriou and Prof. Marc Deisenroth. My main research interests lie within the area of Deep Learning (e.g., CNNs, GANs) and Statistical Machine Learning (e.g., robust/probabilistic subspace learning) methodologies tailored for 2D/3D face analysis applications.

Since April 2018, I have been working as Machine Learning Scientist in Facesoft, where I have been developing novel deep learning methods for 2D face texture as well as 3D face shape (mesh) generation/reconstruction.

Prior to joining Imperial College London as a PhD student, I completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence at Imperial College London and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. As a high school student, I was a member of the Greek National Mathematics Team and received the Bronze Medal in the National Mathematical Olympiad.
