I am Professor in Computational Logic in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, where I am a member of the Logic and Artificial Intelligence research section and the leader of the CLArg (Computational Logic and Argumentation) research group.

For summaries of my recent and current research, see my inaugural talk (also available live), my invited tutorial at KR2016, my invited presentation at the University of Toulouse Decision Making Workshop, 24-26 April 2017, and my invited presentation at LPNMR 2017.

I am co-investigator and technical director of the ROAD2H project funded by EPSRC (2017-2020)

I am a member of the steering committe of AT, the Executive Committee of the Board of ALP, the Association for Logic Programming, corner editor on Argumentation for the Journal of Logic and Computation , and in the editorial board of the Argument and Computation and Artificial Intelligence journals.

I am currently or have been recently involved in the following events:
  • 16th International Conference on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (Program Co-Chair), 30 October-2 November, 2018, Tempe, Arizona, USA (KR18)
  • 7th International Conference on Computational Models of Argument (PC member), 12-14 September 2018, Warsaw, Poland (COMMA 2018)
  • 32nd AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (Senior PC member), 2-7 February 2018, New Orleans, Lousiana, USA (AAAI 2018)
  • 5th International Conference on Agreement Technologies (PC member), 14-15 December 2017, Evry, France (AT2017)
  • 1st Workshop on Advances In Argumentation In Artificial Intelligence (PC member), 14-17 November 2017, Bari, Italy (AI3 2017)
Access the Arg&Dec design support tool, the proxdd and grapharg systems for assumption-based argumentation (ABA) and the ABAplus system for ABA with preferences.
