About me
I am a second year computing student at Imperial College London, currently enrolled in a masters course, with a strong interest in the world of artificial intelligence as well as machine learning. There is still far much more to discover about the vast and varied applications of computer science and I would like to be a part of it's evolution. I believe that my proficiencies in problem solving and logical thinking play a key role in developing effective and efficient solutions to a wide variety of problems, this is demonstrated in more detail in the 'languages' and 'projects' sections of my portfolio, feel free to explore!

Outside of academics, I am a basketball ball enthusiast, having been a part of my school's basketball team and playing a key part in the success of my team. Alongside this, I also enjoy Muay Thay, a martial art with a specialisation towards the use of effective footwork. My persistance and dedication towards the martial art has netted me in multiple inter-club matches, with my efforts recognised through a plethora of trophies and belts. I also consider myself an amateur enjoyer of pool, snooker and badminton.

During my second year, I took on the role of an academic rep for the Imperial Islamic Society, where I was responsible for helping freshers settle in to life at Imperial, providing both general as well as academic advice. In order to help these freshers, I dedicated some time towards a freshers handbook, providing statistic on the modules that students seem to find the hardest, helping the future cohorts efficiently revise in preparation for their summer examinations. Alongside this, I was also a key member of my ISOC's Charity Week sponsorship committee, where I was responsible for contacting both enterprises and alumni to help raise money for orphans across the world.

I was also an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant throughout my second year at Imperial College London, in this role, one of my main duties were to help freshers with software development for a vast multitude of both small and large scale projects. I was also a hall senior for Kemp Porter Buildings, an Imperial student accommodation, where I was tasked with the duty of ensuring the student's wellbeing throughout the academic year. I also planned some events throughout the accommodation to encourage students to socialise and destress in order to encourage a healthy student life at Imperial.
