Call for participation: Live Demonstrations, Posters and Extended Abstracts
In this workshop we aim to bring together researchers from robot vision and computer vision with the aim of synthesising ideas in this exciting new area, and obtaining a better understanding of what makes certain flavours and methodologies more applicable on modern parallel hardware to the specific live dense reconstruction problem over classical offline dense reconstruction algorithms. We invite submissions in areas connected to all parts of the live dense reconstruction pipeline with particular interest for those that are more applicable or have been implemented on modern GPU hardware:
- Real-time robust camera tracking
- Real-time depth, stereo and multiple view fusion techniques
- Algorithms designed to handle continuously growing datasets and provide any-time ready output
Authors are invited to participate by writing an extended abstract (2 to 4 pages) to support either a current live dense reconstruction related system or a poster. The workshop will provide facilities for demonstrators including the availability of high end laptops and desktops on which code can be run. Each submission will also be included in a spot-light style presentation.
