This web page contains all the materials for my Perl Short Course, that I've just finished giving last week (10th-14th December 2012) to Dept of Computing second year students.

Changes this year:

  • replaced lecture 6 big example (last year: max frequency, this year: linked lists module).
  • Two new lectures, 7 and 8, covering functional programming in Perl, and some advanced Perl topics.
  • incorporated lovely new Function::Parameters "fun name(args)" and "method name(args)" syntax from lectures 5..8.
